Detention
For being a shorter and simpler game than Silent Hill, Detention is as intricate and emotionally complex as SH2. It was actually unbelievable to see how SH:f looked so much like this game and shared some themes.

The Scourge

The Forest / Sons of the Forest
Disgustingly underrated games and so much more than meets the eye. As a fan of Lost, The Forest is one of the only stories in any medium that comes close to the mystique, corporate sci-fi, and horror elements. The connection from the first game to the second is clever and doesn't feel like a total grab. Enjoyable solo or as a co-op.
Traumada
There's a part of this game where i didn't know if the game was broken, if i was losing my mind, or if what i was looking at was "real" or not. I accidentally sat and watched a video inside the game for almost a full hour and lost sight of where I was and that I was playing a game at all. A really weird, really cool thing to experience.

Brother Hai's Pho Restaurant
A weirdly charming horror game that has a nonsense Vietnaemse soundtrack I adored. The character designs are really cool and Mr. Gold (shown above) is more memorable than some characters in entire franchises.

Mouthwashing
This game is everything. Pyschological space horror that mixes moments from The Shining with movies like Sunshine. Beautiful, moving, and thought-provoking.
