As a follow-up to the launch of Netflix Bay Theater in LA, the company also acquired one of America’s oldest theaters, The Egyptian. The acquisition would require a design that captures the original theater as well as apply branding from Netflix’s other existing theaters.

To improve on the original Bay Theater design, an archive view with a grid of films and their options is viewable from all “view all” links for both special engagements and films/series. This allows users to better understand if a film is a one time event or a series.
