My employer sought to rebrand and rebuild their website to better represent the company, its values, its people, and its skills set. I was called upon as art director, designer, and developer for the site.
The new design focused on large, bold typography, strong imagery, and a constant presence of brand coloring and identity.
Interaction considerations included fade in animations, animated lists, form highlighting, and off-canvas menus in mobile. Image effects were used to emphasize case study images and individual pages included various content sliders and carousels for testimonials and timeline data.
The strong imagery emphasized and put a spotlight on the employees, demonstrating an up close and personal feel.
Conclusion:
The final site was simple, concise, and easy to navigate with generous amounts of animation and interactable elements to keep the pages from being flat. The new art direction was employee-focused and organic, legitimizing the company and adding a personal touch.
