Clear/Obscure was a series of etchings and drawings on plexiglass. The pieces were shown at Pikes Gallery for the Wild Tribe exhibit in Fall 2016. The physical act of etching pieces into glass and later on, breaking them apart and glueing them together into new pieces symbolized the struggle, destruction, and reinvention of my former thoughts. The pieces were intended to be mounted onto white surfaces to obscure the messages, representing the nature of living a truth kept secret.
